برابرتری - More equality

علی‌ابن ‌ابی‌طالب به فرزند خود حسن چنين سفارش می‌کند: «پس آنچه براى خود دوست مى‏دارى براى جز خود دوست بدار . وآنچه تو را خوش نيايد براى او ناخوش بشمار.¹»

پس ازانتخابات رياست جمهوری ايران در خرداد سال 88 عده زيادی از معترضان به نحوه ونتيجه رای‌گيری، اغتشاش‌گر خوانده‌شدند. دو سالپس از آن در آذر سال 1390 گروهی به سفارت‌خانه بريتانيا پاتک زدند و خرت‌وپرت‌هایی را از در سفارت‌خانه بيرون ريختند. مقامات و رسانه‌های حکومتی اما اين يورش را به حرکتیانقلابی و خودجوش، هرچند با کمی زياده‌روی، تعبير کردند. نکته اينکه اگر اعتراضبه سياستی، چه وطنی و چه اجنبی، مباح است چرا «عده‌ای از ديگران برابرترند²»؟ گوییدر سنتِ کسانی که خود را به رشته تقدس‌های ماورایی متصل می‌دانند معيار نيک و بد يکفعل، تنها فاعل آن است نه خود فعل.

Ali ibn Abi Talib advices his son, Hasan ibn Ali as follows: “Whatever you like for yourself, like for others, andwhatever you dislike to happen to you, spare others from such happenings.¹”

After Iranian presidential election in 2009 and the hugeprotests against the form and results of the election, the numerous protesterswere called as rioters.

Two years later in 2011, a group of people attack Britishembassy and take the odds and ends out of the buildings. Governmental officialsand media interpret this attack as a revolutionary and spontaneous movement,though with a little obstinately. If protesting against a policy, whetheragainst a domestic or a foreign policy is good, why “some are more equal thanothers²”? It seems, inthe tradition of those who esteem themselves as attached to ulteriordivinities, only the doer is the criteria of goodness and badness, and not theact itself.

شايد طی جنگ جهانی دوم زمانی که نيروهای انگليسی به همراه همتايان روسی‌شاندر سال 1941 ايران بی‌طرف در جنگ را به بهانه عدم اخراج کارکنان رسمی دولت آلماناشغال کردند¹ نمی‌دانستند که در برابر اشغال سفارت‌خانه خود درسال 2011 چنين بی‌تاب خواهند شد².

گروهی از ايرانیان در سال 1979 پس از اشغال سفارت‌خانه آمريکا ديپلمات‌هایحاضر را به گروگان گرفتند³.يک‌سال بعد، در سال 1980 مشابه همين رويداد، هرچند در مقياسی کوچک‌تر، گريبان خودايران را هم گرفت تا سفارت‌خانه کشور در انگلستان اشغال شود و ديپلمات‌ها به گروگانگرفته‌شوند⁴.

وقتی عرف‌های معقول و مورد پذيرش اکثريت شکسته می‌شوند پيامدهای آن‌را نمی‌شودبه راحتی جمع‌وجور کرد. در اين اوضاع که مشخص نيست جماعتی که از در و ديوار سفارت‌خانه‌هابالا می‌روند از کجا گسيل شده‌اند، نروژ صلاح را در آن می‌بيند که هرچند برای مدتیکوتاه، کره‌کره‌های سفارت‌خانه خود در ايران را پايين بکشد⁵. از سوی ديگر در سوييس به طرف سفارت ايران سنگ و مواد آتش‌زا پرتاب می‌شود⁶. اينکهاين بازی را اول چه کسی شروع کرد حکايت همان سوال معروف است: اول مرغ بود يا تخم‌مرغ؟پاسخ‌اش اهميتی ندارد چون در اين ميان حق با هيچ‌‌يک از دو طرف نيست! نه با آنهاییکه مرز کشورها را به هيچ می‌انگارند و نه با کسانی که مرز سفارت‌خانه‌ها را.

Probably, during the World War II,when Brits along with their Russian counterparts invaded Iran in 1941 becauseof not removing German national workers from the country¹,they didn’t know how impatient will they be because of their embassy beinginvaded in 2011².

مرموزترين سادگی - The most mysterious simplicity

سلام!

درجایی حکايتی خواندم درباره مردی که برای دانستن حقيقت زندگی روانه معبدی شد. بهتازه‌واردان در بدو ورود ظرفی از غذا می‌دادند. مرد بعد از خوردن غذا به نزد مرشدمعبد رفت و از او پرسيد: "می‌خواهم زندگی راستينی داشته باشم، چه کنم؟"

مرشدپرسيد: "غذایی را که دادند خوردی؟"

مردجواب داد: "بله."

مرشدگفت: "حالا برو و ظرفش را بشور."

بهراستی، وارستگی و شرف که فکر می‌کنم "سادگی" را بخش جدایی‌ناپذيری از آنمی‌بينم. و عجيب آنکه پررمز و رازترين، دل‌انگيزترين و مسحورکننده‌ترين معماهایهستی در پوشش همين "سادگی" پنهان شده‌اند.

I read somewhere the story of a man, eager to know the truth of life,who went to a temple. New comers were given a dish of food. After eating the food, theman came to the master and asked him: “To have a true life what should I do?”

“Did you eat the food they gave you?” the master asked.

When I think about truthfulness, nobility and virtue, I find the“simplicity” as an inseparable part of it. And so strange that the mostmysterious, beautiful and captivating riddles of the being are covered in this “simplicity”.

حقوق اوليه بنی‌‌بشر که از او سلب شود، بعيد نيست اگر سطح خواسته‌هايش تا بازپس‌گيری همان حقوق ابتدایی تنزل پيدا ‌کند. نان را که از خلق بگيرند مشکلش می‌شود جوع، خواسته‌اش می‌شود نان. ضعف گرسنگی برای کنکاش در فلسفه خلقت و سعادت بشر مجالی باقی نمی‌گذارد. ايرادی هم بر او نيست ولی نکته اينجا است که گرفتار آمدن در ميان خرده‌آرزو‌ها غور کردن در افکار و آرزوهای والا‌ را به تعويق می‌اندازد.

خرده‌آرزو‌ها از بلادی به بلاد ديگر در تغييرند و البته ناگزير؛ مال ما می‌تواند آرزوی روزی باشد که در آن فلان کتاب سلاخی، فلان مقاله جرح و تعديل، و فلان تنديس از برابر ديده‌ها ناپديد نشود.

گاه که دمی‌ می‌آساييم و به کف و سقف آرزوهای‌مان می‌نگريم، فاصله بين آنچه که می‌خواهيم و آنچه که دوست داريم بخواهيم آزارمان می‌دهد.

به خودمان يادآوری کنيم که مبادا افکار و آرزوهای والايمان در هياهوی خرده‌آرزو‌های ناگزير، فراموش شوند.

When human being is deprived of his primary rights, it's not unlikely to decline the level of his demands in order to regain those basic rights. If bread is taken out of people, their problem will be hunger and their want will be bread. Starving doesn’t leave any opportunity for thinking about the philosophy of creation and human bliss. There is no place to blame him, but being involved in little-wishes postpones diving down in grand thoughts and wishes.

Little wishes are inevitable and different from territory to territory; for us, it could be wishing a day in which no book is slaughtered, no article is censored, and no statue is vanished.

Sometimes when we find an opportunity and take a look at the least and at the most of our wishes, the distance between what we want and what we like to want disturbs us.

Let’s remind ourselves, our grand thoughts and wishes should not be forgotten in the solitude of the little ones.

در پنجم ژوئن سال 1989، يک روز بعد از سرکوب سلسله اعتراض‌های عمدتن آرام و مسالمت‌آميز مردمی که در مخالفت با محدوديت‌های سياسی در چين در ميدان تيان-آن-من پکن گردهم آمده بودند، ستونی از تانک‌های ارتش موقع پيشروی به طرف اين ميدان، در خيابان چانگ‌آن مردی را ديدند که با کيسه‌های خريد در دست بر سر راه‌شان ايستاده‌است و کنار نمی‌رود. اين شخص ناشناس که امروز به مرد تانک‌ها معروف است با تلاش‌های چندباره خود جلوی حرکت تانک‌ها را هرچند برای مدتی کوتاه گرفت تا اينکه بعد از دقايقی دو شخص آبی‌پوش ظاهر شده و او را کنار کشيدند و در بين جمعيت ناپديد شدند.

آن‌روز از اين اتفاق چند عکس و فيلم گرفته‌شد و خارج کردن بعضی از آنها از چين جريان‌‌های جالبی را به وجود آورد. با اينکه هويت و سرنوشت اين شخص که مجله تايم به او لقب ياغی ناشناس داد هنوز مشخص نيست ولی حرکت او به نمادی برای اعتراض‌های آرام و مسالمت‌آميز تبديل شد.

In that time Terril Jones, Associated Press reporter was among the crowd and wanted to capture a scene of the protests but after a month when printing his photos he noticed Tank Man in the background of one of them. In this photo Tank Man stays several meters further away and the column of tanks is approaching him.

On June 5, 1989, a day after cracking down the mainly non-violent protests against political constraints in China at Beijing’s Tiananmen Square, a column of army tanks, while approaching the square, noticed a man holding two shopping bags on Chang’an Avenue who had blocked the path and didn’t step away. The man who nowadays is known as Tank Man prevented the tanks from moving, though for a short duration of time, with his repeatedly attempts until two persons in blue clothes appeared, pulled him away and disappeared among the crowd.

In that day some photos and films from this event were taken and recorded and smuggling them out of China created interesting stories.

Although the identity and destiny of the man whom Time Magazine called Unknown Rebel is not yet clear, what he did became a symbol for peaceful and non-violent protests.

سهم مغول‌ها از سال‌ها لشگرکشی، بازگشت بر سر خانه و کاشانه خود در همان دشت‌هایی بود که از پيش در آن ساکن بودند و آنچه از کشورگشایی‌های اسکندر مقدونی به جا ماند، چيزی نبود جز قلمرویی کوچک.

بخشی از کتاب امپراتوری مغول، نوشته مری هال و ترجمه نادر ميرسعيدی به بيان رويدادی می‌پردازد که بيشتر به يک کمدی تاريخی شبيه است؛ نمايشی خنده‌دار که کسی آرزوی ديدنش را ندارد! در سال 1345 ميلادی زمانی که ارتش اردوی زرين مغول شهر کافا در ساحل دريای سياه را محاصره کرد، سپاه مغول به طاعون دچار شد و بسياری از صفوف آنها از بين رفت. فرمانده مغول به جای آن‌که از محاصره دست بکشد و عقب‌نشينی کند، اجساد افراد خود را با منجنيق از بالای حصارها به داخل شهر پرتاب کرد تا اين بيماری مرموز، دشمنانش را مبتلا کند. شايد اين نخستين نمونه ثبت شده جنگ ميکروبی بود. طاعون شهر کافا را به نابودی کشاند و بوسيله بازرگانان به دريای مديترانه و اروپا و سپس حتی به گرينلند هم رسيد.

Mongols’ share of military expedition in years was returning to the homes in the desert in which they used to settle before and what remained from Alexander III of Macedon's conquers, was a small land.

A part of the book The Mongol Empire, written by Mary Hull narrates an event which looks like a historical comedy; a laughable performance which no one wishes to watch it! When in 1345 Golden Horde of Mongols surrounded Kaffa in Black Sea coast, Mongolian army affected by plague and many of them perished. The Mongolian commander, instead of ending the blockade and retreating, threw the corps of his troops into the city by catapult in order to affect the enemies by this strange disease. This possibly was the first recorded microbial war. Plague nearly ravaged Kaffa and via the traders spread out to Mediterranean Sea and Europe and even Greenland.

!برابر و مراقب - Equal and attentive!

جورج اورول دست‌کم دو رمان عالی دارد: يکی مزرعه حيوانات و ديگری، هزار و نهصد و هشتاد و چهار (1984). جالب اينکه در هر يک از اين دو رمان جمله‌ای کليدی وجود دارد؛‌ جمله‌ای که تصوير واقعی آن در جوامع گوناگون کاملن ملموس است.

تمام حيوانات باهم برابرند اما بعضی برابرترند (مزرعه حيوانات).

با تعميم اين جمله به جامعه انسانی و جايگاه انسان‌ها در برابر قانون يا هر اصل در هر شاخه‌ای که تساوی انسان‌ها را مورد تاکيد قرار می‌دهد آنقدر برای آن نمونه و مصداق پيدا می‌کنيم که نمی‌توان در درستی آن شک کرد.

برادر بزرگ مراقب تو است (1984).

برادر بزرگ لقب پيشوای کشور خيالی رمان ((1984)) است. اهميت اين جمله به علت معنای دوپهلوی آن است. کشور خيالی اورول جایی است که دستگاه‌های شنود و ضبط تصوير کوچکترين رفتارهای مردم در جای‌جای آن و حتی در خانه‌هايشان را کنترل می‌کنند. در چنين فضایی است که مردم هر جا که می‌روند پوستری بزرگ با عکس پيشوای خود را می‌بينند که زير آن نوشته شده: برادر بزرگ مراقب تو است.

George Orwell has at least two great novels: Animal Farm, and Nineteen Eighty-Four (1984). The interesting point is that there is a sentence in each of them which has been expanded beyond the world of literature.

All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others (Animal Farm).

By extending this sentence to human society and the situation of humans before the law or any other principle which emphasizes humans' equality, so many instances and proofs can be found for it that its truth cannot be doubted.

Big brother is watching you (1984).

Big brother refers to the leader of the imaginary country in Orwell's "1984". The importance of this sentence is because of its tow-edged meaning. The imaginary country of Orwell's novel is a place in which telescreens control even minute behaviours of people in any corner and even in their homes. It is in such a space that wherever people go, they see a big poster with the photo of their leader on it under which it has been written: Big Brother is watching you.

گيل بی‌. استوارت در کتاب امپراتوری هيتلر¹ عواملی را مورد توجه قرار می‌دهد که در آغاز جنگ جهانی دوم بی‌اثر نبوده‌اند. نقش سرخوردگی و حقارت مردم آلمان پس از شکست در جنگ جهانی اول را نمی‌توان در شکل‌گيری جنگ دوم جهانی ناديده گرفت. آلمان پس از پايان جنگ به پرداخت غرامتی سنگين متعهد شد؛ غرامتی که به باور مردم غيرمنصفانه و پرداخت آن در شرايط دشوار پس از جنگ عقلانی نبود. پرداخت غرامت‌ها از سویی و بی‌کاری و فقر از سوی ديگر آلمان را با شرايط سختی مواجه کرد. دولت آلمان بی‌آنکه از پشتوانه کافی برخوردار باشد چاپ اسکناس را افزايش داد و در پی اين اشتباه، ارزش مارک به سرعت کاهش يافت تا جایی که گرم کردن خانه با سوزاندن اسکناس باصرفه‌تر از خريد هيزم بود! برانگيخته شدن نارضايتی از دول خارجی و نيز شرايط داخلی راه را برای روی کار آمدن يک ناسيوناليست افراطی به نام هيتلر هموار کرد. ((... هيتلر هيولای آدمکشی نبود که قدرت سياسی را از دست رهبران قانونی آلمان بيرون کشيده باشد؛ بلکه کاملا برعکس، به خاطر محبوبيت خودش و پيامش بود که قدرت به او تفويض شد.))

The role of indignity and contempt among Germans after the losing the First World War cannot be omitted in the rise of the World War II. After the war Germany guaranteed paying a big amount of indemnity; an amount which people thought was unjust and unaffordable in after war conditions. Paying the indemnity on the one hand and unemployment and poverty on the other hand confronted the country with difficult conditions. German government increased printing bills without having adequate credit and as a result of this mistake the value of Mark decreased rapidly to the extend that warming home with burning the bills was more economical than burning firewood! The kindle of public frustration against foreign governments and also the inland conditions paved the way for a radical nationalist named Hitler to take the power. Hitler was not a homicide monster who had arrogated the political power of legal leaders of Germany; but completely by contraries, it was because of his popularity and his message popularity that the power was assigned to him.

کتاب مقدس شامل دو بخش عهد قديم و عهد جديد است. عهد قديم شامل کتب يهود تا پيش از عیسی است و عهد جدید شامل مکتوبات پس از عیسی که انجيل‌های چهارگانه مرقس، متی، لوقا، و يوحنا هم جزو آنها هستند. در اين ميان به سه انجيل مرقس، لوقا و متی، انجيل‌های هم‌نوا گفته می‌شود چون رويدادهای تعريف شده در آنها به هم شباهت زيادی دارند و گاه حتی ترتيب کلماتشان با هم یکی است. بيشتر پدران اوليه کليسا متی را اولين انجیلی می‌دانستند که به رشته تحرير درآمده ولی بعدها يک الهی‌دان آلمانی (اشتور) مرقس را اولين انجيل خواند که البته نظريه‌اش چندان با استقبال مواجه نشد. بعد از او يک زبان‌شناس ِ آلمانی ِ متون تاریخی (کارل لکمن)، سه انجيل هم‌نوا را دو به دو با هم مقايسه کرد و متوجه شد که مرقس و لوقا شبيه به هم و متفاوت از متی و همچنين مرقس و متی شبيه به هم و متفاوت از لوقا هستند. يعنی در هر دو صورت لوقا و متی با مرقس وجوه مشترک داشتند.

پس از او گوتلاب ويلک الهی‌دان و هرمان ويش فيلسوف ِ مذهبی ِ آلمانی به اين نتيجه رسيدند که نه تنها مرقس اولين انجيل است بلکه به عنوان منبعی برای نگارش متی و لوقا به کار رفته‌است. استدلال‌هایی که در اين مدت گردآوری شد به اندازه کافی معقول بود تا جایی که امروز نظريه تقدم مرقس از طرف بسياری از علمای مسيحی پذيرفته شده‌است.

ولی يک پرسش ديگر هم همواره درباره منبع نگارش اناجيل وجود داشته و آن اينکه اگر تشابهات اين سه انجيل به خاطر اقتباس لوقا و متی از مرقس بوده، پس آن مواردی که در مرقس ناموجود ولی در لوقا و متی موجود است از کجا نشات گرفته؟ نظريه‌ای که برای پاسخ گویی به اين مسئله مطرح شد وجود يک منبع ناشناخته علاوه بر مرقس بود که نام آن را منبع کيو (اول کلمه Quelle آلمانی به معنی منبع) گذاشتند و اين احتمال داده‌شد که منبع کيو بر خلاف اناجيل چهارگانه، تنها حاوی منقولات عیسی بوده‌است.

حين خواندن مطالب مرتبط با اين موضوع، يکی از چیزهایی که جلب توجه می‌کند، نقش پررنگ آلمانی‌ها اعم از الهی‌دان، فيلسوف و زبان‌شناس در اين مطالعات است.

Holy Bible includes two parts; the Old Testament and the New Testament. The Old Testament includes the Jew books until Jesus and the New Testament includes the writings after Jesus which four canonical gospels of Mark, Matthew, Luke and John are among them. Among these, three gospels of Mark, Luke and Matthew are called Synoptic gospels because narrated events within them have big similarities and sometimes even their word orders are as the same. Most of early father considered Matthew as the first gospel which was written but a German theologist (Storr) called Mark as the first gospel though his hypothesis was not accepted that much. After him, a German philologist (Karl Lachman) compared the three synoptic gospels in pairs and noticed that Mark and Luke are similar to each other while being different than Matthew, and also Mark and Matthew are similar to each other while being different than Luke. It means, in both conditions Luke and Matthew had similarities with Mark.

After him, Gottlob Wilke, the German theologist and Hermann Weisse, the German religious philosopher concluded that not only Mark has been the first gospel but also it has been used as a source for writing Matthew and Luke. The reasons gathered then were logical enough that nowadays the Markan priority hypothesis is accepted by many scholars.

But there always was another question about the source of gospels, i.e. if the similarities of these three gospels have been because of Luke and Matthew borrowing from Mark, so what is the source of those things not existing in Mark but existing in Luke and Matthew? The hypothesis proposed for answering this question was the existence of an unknown source, in addition to Mark, which was named Q source(the first letter Quelle meant source in German). And it was proposed that despite canonical gospels, the Q source was included only Jesus' sayings.

به اين فکر می‌کنم که شايد بايد در مفهوم "خداباور" تجديد نظر کنيم. معمولن بسياری از کسانی که به باورمند نبودن به خدا متهم می‌شوند نيز به يک قدرت برتر، هرچند مادی، باور دارند که نامش چيزی غير از خداست. همچنين حتی بسياری از خود خداباوران هم بر اين عقيده‌اند که مفهوم واقعی "خدا" از دايره تعاريف مادی و ذهنی بيرون است. پس نکند واژه "خدا" آنها را به اشتباه بياندازد و تصور کنند که چون سايرين قدرت برتر را چيز دیگری صدا می‌زنند پس اصلن خدا را نمی‌شناسند؟ شايد هستند کسانی که بی‌‌‌آنکه خود بدانند برداشت‌شان از قدرت برتر به مفهوم "خدا" نزديک‌تر است و برای مثال با اينکه طبيعت را نيروی کنترل‌کننده جهان می‌دانند صفات و مفاهيمی را برای آن قايل شوند که گاه با تعاريف مذاهب خداباور از "خدا" همخوانی داشته باشد.

I think about this, that probably we should revamp the concept of "God believer". Most of the people who are accused to not believing in God also often believe in an excellent power, though materialistic, whose name is something rather than God. Meanwhile even many of the God believers themselves believe that the real concept of God is beyond the materialistic and mental definitions. So, should be aware the word "God" not to trip them to think that since the others call that excellent power something else, so they do not know God ever. Probably there are people, without themselves being aware, whose concept about the excellent power is nearer to the concept of "God" and for instance, although they believe in the nature as the world controller power, they attribute some qualities and concepts to it which coincides more the definitions of God said by God-believer religions.

خیلی وقت‌ها که به دنبال مطالب و عکس‌هایی درباره آثار باستانی ايران می‌گردم چيزی که عايدم می‌شود عکس‌ ديوارها، سردرها، و تپه‌هایی است که چيز زيادی از آنها باقی نمانده‌.

خیلی از آثار تاریخی و باستانی‌ ايران و جهان در قرن‌های گذشته به‌طور گسترده تعمير و حتی بازسازی شده‌اند. کعبه تاکنون چند بار تعمير و بازسازی شده. درباره معابد آکروپوليس در يونان هم وضع به همين منوال بوده‌. فرمانروايان گذشته در نو کردن آثار تاریخی‌شان بی‌پرواتر بوده‌اند و چه بسا اگر همان تعميرهای چندصد سال پيش نبود، اکنون اثری از آنها به جا نمی‌ماند. به نظر می‌رسد تعميرهای گسترده و بازسازی در ايران جايگاهی ندارد و تصور می‌شود که جايگزین کردن قسمت‌های فرتوت با قسمت‌های جديد، و حتی ساخت مثلا يک معبد جديد به جای اثر ويران شده، از ارزش تاریخی‌‌ آن‌ها می‌کاهد. نتيجه اينکه فرسايش بيش از پيش چنين آثاری آنها را به تلی از سنگ و خاک تبديل کرده‌است.‌

البته اينطور که پيداست تعميرها و بازسازی‌های موفق در دنيا با مطالعه و طرح‌های دقیقی همراه بوده تا اثر جديد بيشترين شباهت را به اصل اثر داشته باشد.

When looking for the information and the photos about Iranian ancient architectures, what are often resulted are the photos of walls, entrances, and hills which nothing much has been left of them.

Many of Iranian and world historical and ancient architectures in the past centuries have been vastly repaired and even reconstructed. Kaaba have been repaired and reconstructed several times up to now. That's the same about the temples of acropolis in Greece. Past rulers were bolder in renewing their historical architectures and perhaps if there were not those repairs of several thousand years ago, now no sign of them were remained. It seems that vast repair and reconstruction has no place in Iran and it is thought that replacing the decrepit blocks with new ones, or even building, for example, a new temple in the place of the tumbledown architecture decreases the historical value of it. As a result, increasingly erosion of such architectures converts them to a heap of stone and soil.

However, it seems that successful repairs and reconstructions in the world have been accompanied by accurate studies and plans in order the new architecture to have the most similarity to the original one.

در پس بسياری از فيلم‌های کوتاه ايده‌های جالبی جا خوش کرده‌اند. کاش برنامه منسجمی برای نمايش آنها وجود می‌داشت. يکی از آن فيلم‌های کوتاه که به نظر جالب می‌آمد داستان مردی بود که يک روز صبح از خواب بيدار می‌شود (هرچند بيدار شدنش را نديدم، چون فکر کنم اصلن فيلم را از اول نشان نداد، شايد هم من نديدم) و می‌بيند هيچکس در شهر نيست.

در یکی از سکانس‌ها در حاليکه با چرخ دستی در فروشگاه می‌چرخد هر چه را می‌خواهد توی سبد خريدش می‌گذارد ولی از آن شور و شوق مرسوم در فروشگاه‌ها‌ خبری نيست.

اسم فيلم را يادم نيست، نمی‌دانم اصلن اسم فيلم را نشان داد يا نه. در هر صورت شايد بن‌مايه اين داستان خیلی قدیمی‌تر از اينها بوده، و شايد بوده‌اند کسانی که پيش‌تر آن را به صورت داستان يا فيلم درآورده باشند ولی اين داستان را اولين بار در آن فيلم ديدم.

There are interesting ideas sat beyond many short films. Wish there was a regular program for presenting them. One of those films which seemed interesting was the story of a man who got up one day (however I didn't see him getting up because I think it didn't show the film from the beginning, or maybe I didn't see it) and sees there is no one in the city.

In one of the scenes while wandering with a cart in a supermarket he puts whatever he wants in the shopping basket but the common enthusiasm and interest found in supermarkets are not exist there.

I don't remember the name of that film, I don't know if they showed the name in fact or not. Though probably the theme of this story was very older, and maybe there had been some individuals who had written or filmed it but I for the first time saw the story in that film.

طراحان تبليغات و آگهی‌ها برای اينکه افراد بيشتری را به استفاده از يک کالا يا سرويس جذب کنند از ابزارهای مختلفی استفاده می‌کنند که یکی از آنها زبان است؛ چه به صورت نوشتاری و چه به صورت گفتاری. يعنی با استفاده از ترفندهایی، واژه‌ها و جمله‌ها را چنان به کار می‌برند که افراد بيشتری جذب محصول‌شان شوند. حالا در اين بين بعضی از اين ترفندها جالب و حتی زيبا هستند ولی بعضی ديگر شعور مخاطب را ناديده می‌گيرند. یکی از ترفندهایی که اغلب احترام به مخاطب را ناديده می‌گيرد ((ايجاد پيش فرض)) يا Presupposition است. به طور خلاصه Presupposition يعنی اينکه تبليغ‌کننده، اول يک پيش‌فرض را به بيننده تحميل می‌کند و بعد بر اساس همان پيش‌فرض محصول خودش را تبليغ می‌کند.

برای مثال: ديگر از طاسی سرتان خجالت نکشيد، شامپوهای ما در خدمت موهای شما هستند.

بخش اول جمله بالا يک پيش‌فرض يا Presupposition است. اين جمله اصرار دارد اين فکر را تحميل کند که کچل بودن باعث خجالت‌ است. حالا شايد آن شخص کم‌مویی که اين آگهی را می‌بيند سالها به همان صورت زندگی کرده و از بابت آن هم شرمنده نبوده‌‌است چون امری طبیعی است و دليلی برای شرمندگی وجود ندارد. ولی تبليغاتچی اصرار می‌کند که نه، طاسی خجالت‌آور است خودت خبر نداری. و بعد از اينکه اين پيش‌‌فرض را مطرح کرد در قسمت دوم جمله می‌گويد درست است که کم‌مو بودن عيب دارد اما ديگر نگران نباش چون اگر از شامپوهای ما استفاده کنی موهای سرت نمی‌ريزد.

آگهی‌های زيادی از رسانه‌های مختلف منتشر می‌شوند و بعضی وقت‌ها خوب است اگر به راهبردهایی که می‌خواهند با آنها مردم را جذب ‌کنند توجه شود.

Advertisement designers use different devices in order to attract more people to use their goods or services and one of these devices is language; either in its written or spoken form. It means they employ some tricks to use words and sentences in such a way that more people get attracted to their product.

Now meanwhile, some of these tricks are interesting and even beautiful, but some others disregard the conscience of their audiences. One of the tricks which often disregards respecting the audiences is Presupposition, i.e. first the advertiser obtrudes a supposition to his/her audiences and then based on that supposition promotes his/her product.

For example: Don’t be ashamed of your baldness anymore, our shampoos are in your hairs’ service.

The first part of the above sentence is a Presupposition. This sentence insists to obtrude that baldness makes people ashamed. Now probably the person who sees this promotion has lived a long time with a bald head and has not been disturbed because this is natural thing and there is no reason to be ashamed. But the advertiser insists that no, of course baldness is shameful but you are not aware of that. And after propounding this presupposition he/she maintains in the second part of the sentence that although baldness is faulty, don’t be worry anymore because if you use our shampoos you won’t experience hair loss.

There are a lot of advertisements released via media and sometimes it is good to pay attention to the strategies by which they want to attract people.

زندگی با کامپيوتر و اينترنت راحت‌طلبم کرده. کتاب را برمی‌دارم و برای پيدا کردن چيزی که دنبالش هستم ورقش می‌زنم. معمولن جای تقریبی چيزهایی که قبلن خوانده‌ام يادم می‌ماند. ولی با خودم می‌گويم چه خوب بود اگر صفحه‌ای را که دنبالش هستم می‌شد "سرچ" کرد. وقتی می‌خواهم کلمه‌ای را که اشتباه نوشته شده با لاک سفيد بپوشانم می‌گويم خوب بود اگر می‌شد آ‌ن‌را "Clear" کرد و دوباره نوشت...

راحت‌طلبی هميشه هم بد نيست چون هر دو سوی پيشرفت تا حدودی به آن مربوط است. برای راحتی بيشتر وسايلی همچون کامپيوترها ساخته می‌شوند و با به کار بردن آنها راحت‌طلب‌تر می‌شويم.

کمی از اسپينوزا - A little about Spinoza

دقیقن یادم نیست دنبال اطلاعاتی درباره کدام فیلسوف بودم که به نام اسپینوزا رسیدم و خواندن بخشی هرچند کوچک از افکار این فیلسوف هلندی به نظر بسیار جالب آمد چون بعضی از باورهای او یادآور باورهای فلاسفه و متفکران شرقی است. باروخ اسپینوزا اصالتن یک یهودی پرتغالی بودو البته چون نگرشش با نگرش سنتی به آیین یهود متفاوت بود در سال 1656 میلادی از سوی جامعه یهود تکفیر و از آن اخراج شد.

اسپینوزا واقعیت موجود در پس همه ظواهر و حالات را ((جوهر)) می‌نامد و می‌افزاید یک جوهر نباید جز خود به چیز دیگری وابسته یا نیازمند باشد و پیشنهاد او این است که یک جوهر بیشتر وجود ندارد و آن جوهر یکتا همان ((خدا)) است.

اسپینوزا صفاتی همچون دانا، بینا، شنوا و توانا را برای توصیف خدا قابل ‌قبول نمی‌داند چون به باور او تعریف انسان از خدا عمدتا مبتنی بر صفاتی است که انسان آنها را در خود مشاهده می‌کند و بعد به خدا نسبت می‌دهد. او در این‌باره مثال خوبی دارد و می‌گوید اگر از یک مثلث بخواهیم خدا را توصیف کند خدا را کامل‌ترین مثلثات خواهد خواند و اگر از یک دایره بخواهیم به توصیف خدا بپردازد او را کامل‌ترین دوایر معرفی خواهد کرد، پس عجیب نیست اگر انسان نیز صفات خود را (در شکل برترشان) به خدا نسبت می‌دهد.

از نظر او نسبت دادن مواردی همچون ((انجام دادن کار)) به خدا قابل پذیرش نیست چون لازمه انجام کار این است که خدا از آنچه که در زمان‌های گذشته و حال و آینده روی می‌دهد تاثیر بپذیرد و بخواهد نسبت به آنها واکنش نشان دهد حال آنکه خدا بی‌زمان است و گذشته و حال و آینده برای او یکسان است. در نتیجه هر آنچه که باید در جهان انجام بشود انجام شده و در هستی چیز تازه‌ای به‌وجود نخواهد آمد.

عرض شد که اسپینوزا تنها جوهر هستی را خدا می‌داند. و همچنین می‌دانیم که در رابطه علت و معلولی هر چیزی علتی دارد ولی با حرکت به سوی مبدا این مجموعه علت‌ها و معلول‌ها به وجودی می‌رسیم که خودش علت خودش است؛ یعنی وجودی قائم به ذات است که به هیچ علتی نیاز ندارد. و در اینجا اسپینوزا به طرح مواردی می‌پردازد که شاید در ظاهر در تقابل با باورهای سنتی قرار بگیرد. از جمله اینکه جز خدا هیچ چیزی وجود ندارد چون اگر وجود می‌داشت لازمه‌اش این بود که خدا به آن چیز محدود شود و این با تعریف ((تنها جوهر هستی)) که هم در فلسفه اسپينوزا و هم در رابطه علیت عرض شد در تناقض است. اسپینوزا می‌گوید حتی خدا نیز نمی‌تواند (؟) چیز ((ديگری)) را که ((غیر از او)) باشد به وجود بياورد؛ منظور از چیز ((دیگر)) هر چیزی است که جوهر متفاوتی داشته باشد، و گفته شد که جوهر هستی یکتا است. در باور اسپینوزا خدا هستی را به وجود نیاورد چون موجود نمی‌تواند موجود دیگری را به وجود آورد و در واقع هستی همان خدا و خدا همان هستی است و هر آنچه را که مشاهده می‌کنیم همزمان با خدا به وجود آمده است (گفتنی است در اینجا به این موضوع پرداخته نشده که آیا خدا وجود مطلق است یا به وجود آمده است).

از این‌رو اسپینوزا هر ماده‌ای را در اساس خود، دارای جوهر می‌داند. او می‌گوید ما تا زمانی که ماده هستیم نمی‌توانیم علت هستی را بفهمیم اما چون هر وجودی دارای جوهر است می‌تواند روزی توسط جوهر که همان خداست علت هستی را بفهمد.

در پایان اینکه حکم تکفیر جامعه یهود درباره اسپینوزا امروزه به نوشته‌ای خنده‌دار، هرچند تلخ می‌ماند. آرای او که می‌توانست در بین دانشمندان زمان به بحث و نقد گذارده شود و بر وسعت و دقت تفکرات مذهبی بیافزاید همچون بسیاری از نمونه‌های موجود در تاریخ در معرض اتهام قرار گرفت. خلاصه‌ای از حکم تکفیر جامعه یهود درباره او چنین است:

"به حکم فرشتگان و به فرمان قدیسان، ما باروخ اسپینوزا را به اذن خدایی که او را تقدیس باد، و به اذن جامعه مقدس...، نفرین، طرد و لعن می‌کنیم؛... در روز بر او لعنت باد و در شب بر او لعنت باد؛ وقتی می‌خوابد بر او لعنت باد و وقتی برمی‌خیزد بر او لعنت باد. وقتی بیرون می‌رود بر او لعنت باد و وقتی بازمی‌گردد بر او لعنت باد. خدا او را نخواهد بخشید تا اینکه خشم خدا و حمیتش برضد آن شخص شعله‌ور شود، و همه لعنت‌های مکتوب در این کتاب (تورات) بر او فرود آید و خدا نام او را از زیر آسمان‌ها بزداید... ما فرمان می‌دهيم که هيچکس نبايد شفاها يا کتبا با او در ارتباط باشد يا به او توجه کند، يا با او زير يک سقف باشد، يا فاصله‌اش از او کمتر از چهار ال (تقريبا دو متر) باشد، يا چيزی را که او تنظيم کرده يا نوشته بخواند."

I don’t exactly remember about which philosopher I was looking for information that I got to the name of Spinoza and reading though little parts of this Dutch philosopher’s thoughts seemed very interesting; the reason is that some of his beliefs are reminder of the beliefs of eastern philosophers and thinkers. Baruch Spinoza originally was Portuguese Jewish and because of his different views compared to traditional views towards Judaism he was excommunicated and banished from Jewish community.

By Spinoza, the reality beyond all the appearances and forms is called “substance” and he maintains that a substance should not be dependent or needful to another thing and his suggestion is that there is only one substance and this unique substance is “God”.

From Spinoza’s point of view attributing qualities like wise, sighted, hearer, and able are not acceptable for characterizing God because based on his belief human being’s definition about God is mostly based on the qualities that human being observes them in her/himself and then attributes them to God. He has a good example about this and says, if we ask a triangle to characterize God, it will describe God as the most perfect triangle and if we ask a circle to characterize God it will describe God as the most thorough circle ever, so it is not strange if human being attributes his own qualities (on their best form) to God.

In his belief, attributing things like “doing a job” to God is not acceptable because in order a job to be done God should be affected by the events which occur(ed) in the past, present, and future and God should show reaction to them while God is beyond the time. And the past, present, and future are the same to him. Therefore, anything which had to be done in the universe has been done and not any new thing will become into existence in the universe.

As noted before, Spinoza considers God as the only substance of the universe. And we know that in causality relationship anything has a cause, but by moving towards the source of the set of causes and events we will reach at a being which is the cause of itself; i.e., it is a stand alone being that doesn’t need any cause. And at this point Spinoza proposes some subjects which in appearance seems to be in contrast with the traditional beliefs. One among them is saying that except God nothing exists because if it did, God had to be limited to that thing and this is in contradiction with the definition of “the only substance of the universe” which was explained both in the beginning of the blog and in the causality relationship. Spinoza says even God cannot (?) bring something “else” into existence which is not “God”; by saying something “else”, it means something with a different substance and it was said that the substance of the universe is unique. In Spinoza’s belief God did not create the universe but in fact the universe is God and God is the universe and anything which we witness has become into being simultaneously with God (It has to be noticed in here that the discussion is not whether God has been existed or He has come into existence).

Therefore, Spinoza considers any material with having substance with itself. He says as long as we are physical we cannot understand the cause of the universe but since any being includes the substance that in fact is God, it can someday understand the cause of the universe via that substance.

And eventually, nowadays the Jewish community’s sentence of excommunication towards Spinoza looks like a laughable piece of writing, although an acrimonious one. His thoughts which could be discussed and criticized among the scholars of the time and increase the extent and precision of religious thoughts were incriminated like many other instances in the history. A summary of the excommunication sentence of the Jewish community towards Spinoza was:

“By decree of the angels and by the command of the holy men, we excommunicate, expel, curse and damn Baruch de Espinoza, with the consent of God, Blessed be He, and with the consent of the entire holy congregation,…; Cursed be he by day and cursed be he by night; cursed be he when he lies down and cursed be he when he rises up. Cursed be he when he goes out and cursed be he when he comes in. The Lord will not spare him, but then the anger of the Lord and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the Lord shall blot out his name from under heaven...We order that nobody should communicate with him orally or in writing, or show him any favor, or stay with him under the same roof, or within four ells of him, or read anything composed or written by him.”

عکس اول مربوط به يه ماشين الکتريکی ژاپنی به اسم ميرا ای‌وی هستش که سال گذشته ميلادی تونسته بود تنها با يک‌بار شارژ مسافت تقريبا 555 کيلومتری بين توکيو تا اوزاکا رو طی کنه و اين رکورد رو به خودش اختصاص بده. اين ماشين امسال رکورد خودش رو شکست و اين مسافت رو به بيش از 1000 کيلومتر افزايش داد. ميرا ای‌وی سوخت الکتريکيش رو از 8320 باتری يون ليتيوم ساخت سانيو که در لپ‌تاپ‌ها و بعضی از تجهيزات موبايل ازش استفاده می‌شه دريافت می‌کنه

The first photo relates to a Japanese electric car named Mira EV which last year journeyed the approximately 555 km distance between Tokyo and Osaka on a single charge.

This car this year broke its own record and increased the distance to more than 1000 km. Mira EV receives its electrical fuel from 8320 Sanyo lithium-ion batteries which are used in laptops and some mobile equipments.

The second photo relates to Sony's rollable OTFT *1 displays. These full color displays even when presenting a film could be rolled up without degrading picture. We can see an interesting film and more information about this display on the websites of Sony or PopSci.

Zombies and the losses they cause for countries, have been turned to something more than just a security problem in the universe of technology.
Zombies are computers that after being infected by special viruses, are controlled by hackers who have designed them. When connecting to the internet, these zombies become parts of a zombie network and start infecting other computers in the internet. So, after some time a network consisting of thousands of zombies would be created that hackers can use them in different security attacks in the internet.
Many of these attacks are conducted by China and United States hackers and at the same time China is one of the countries which its users have most infected computers in the world and one of the reasons of it is that they don't use security and anti-virus tools on their computers.
The reason that hackers use zombies for internet attacks is that it makes it difficult to track the hackers and also by using thousands of zombies, a very broader attack could be organized.

This photo does not have any direct relationship with this subject and shows the designer of a virus named Panda Burning Incense that was released in 2007 and infected millions of computers around the world. The Chinese government after charging the designer, constrained him to make a tool for removing the virus. In this photo, the designer of Panda virus is testing a tool he has made for removing it.

Photos like Steve Chong's admirable conceptual photos, Malaysian photographer, transfer a sense of heaviness despite their charm. Mostly dark spaces and strange characters help to create these surreal atmospheres. But maybe what designates if a beholder have to feel happiness, heaviness of sadness in herself/himself when watching a photo is the word which is transferred from the photos to the beholder.
